Woodburn Electrical was established in 2008. The business aims to specialise in all aspects of electricity distribution construction and maintenance. Woodburn Electricals’ tradesmen over 30 years combined experience with Far North Queensland’s electricity board in all aspects from domestic through to major zoned substations. Woodburn Electrical is based in Cairns, Far North Queensland.
We have extensive experience working in remote locations from the Torres Straits to inland country Queensland. Our employees have been part of emergency response teams in various natural disasters, performing cyclone restorations, they have completed remote island network construction and maintenance and they have worked in some of the most remote locations within Queensland. Woodburn Electrical prides itself in their ability to work under pressure, in remote locations within timeframes and most importantly, safely.
Our tradesmen are qualified to work on HV cables and equipment up to 33kv, all aspects of LV underground cables and equipment. Our service people can carry out all aspects of HV switching. They can perform HV/LV overhead network maintenance and installation. All aspects of Commercial and Industrial installation and maintenance.
We aim to provide an on-time service without compromising safety. Woodburn Electrical maintains stringent training standards for our staff and has up to date policy and procedure in place for every aspect of the work being undertaken.
